Hey There.
Looks like quite a few Mets fans are getting introduced to the world of RickAnkielsMustache. Maybe I should hold on to this URL a bit longer. And for what it’s worth, I think he’d be a great fit, too. Except I do believe he got lost on the 7 train once or maybe it was a rogue gypsy cab? Someone will need to make sure he makes it to the park on time.

you have to admit, it's a great URL
Ok… keeping it short and sweet, but it’s the end of RickAnkielsMustache. [moment of silence] Obviously I’m not posting here as often and yet oddly enough, I’m watching more baseball. I just don’t have the desire/energy/time to keep up. And there are other people out there taking care of the daily photos and lineups. Big thanks to everyone who has followed along the...

Gesture Earns Outfielder Suspension →
FAYETTEVILLE - Mississippi State avoided a series sweep at Arkansas on Sunday but the Bulldogs will be without a starter for at least one upcoming game as a result. And rightfully so. Mississippi State Brent Brownlee was caught by TV cameras flipping off the crowd after the Bulldogs recorded the final out in the ninth inning. The junior had been playing in left field, where alcohol is...

Obligatory Spring Training post
motherfuckingcubs: Who gives a shit about spring training? The Cubs certianly don’t. Did you know that the motherfucking Cubs have committed a mind-boggling 34 errors in Spring? And, as of this morning, have only played 25 motherfucking games. That’s 1.36 errors per game. Holy shit, right? I mean, that’s legendary. (Not to be outdone, the Friars have committed 35 errors in 23 games. See you...

Update
I’ve obviously been posting very minimally here during the off-season. It’s the one dead time of the year for sports where college baseball hasn’t picked up enough nor has MLB and college football is just off in the distance somewhere. And there’s March Madness yes, which I’ve been enjoying but due to life changes and moving across the country (for those of you care...

Yes, John Pelphrey has been fired.
No, I could not care less. Mike Anderson would be fun and would be my next pick since Corliss Williamson isn’t quite ready just yet.

winstonwolfe: katiewashere: And then angels sang from the heavens. Watch the Red Sox dominate the rest of MLB on Apple TV! Regardless of who will be dominating who, this is a fantastic development but everyone should note that blackout restrictions will still apply. And apologies for not being very active in spring training news. That whole “real life” thing has been taking...

jheath: “To watch Pujols interact with the St. Louis diehards is to watch a prototypical spoiled, arrogant 21st century sports star at his absolute worst. During spring training, it is common for players to wave or smile or nod or (gasp!) talk to fans as they trot from one field to the next during otherwise monotonous drill sessions. Lance Berkman is the king of this practice. Gerald Laird isn’t...
