- Julio Lugo, leading off for the Cardinals today, has played well defensively, hit a home run and a triple.
- Matt Holliday is playing in left field and has four hits.
- Chris Duncan is in AAA. In Boston.
- Joe Thurston is not in the lineup.
- Rick Ankiel is driving the ball.
I’m the kind of person that is very uncomfortable with change. If it was up to me I’d still be 10 yrs. old, Ozzie would be playing shortstop and Big Lee would be closing. Alas, I can’t have it that way. Therefore, I’m repeating in my head a mantra that “change is good, change is good”. They obviously needed it and let’s hope this was in the right direction.
