Looking for online bracket pools to join? Well I’m not running one here, but I thought I would link you to some others that you can get in on. Hurry! You don’t have much time!

If you know of more, feel free to let me know and I’ll add them to the list.

Tumblr March Madness

This is THE tumblr pool to join in my opinion (even though I haven’t joined, yet.) Cost is $10.56 via paypal and the winner gets huge bragging rights and some extra dough. There is also a separate group tumblr for smack talkin’ during the tournament.

Tumblr Madness

For the non-gambling people out there this one is for you. Have fun!

March Madness!

Not sure it’s because Arkansas sucked this year, but I’m not as excited about the tournament this year as I usually am.

Give me a moment to fill out a bracket and I’ll probably get in a better mood.

Arkansas Off-Season

A few things have been going on down on The Hill and thanks to WholeHogSports I can give you a quick update.  With links!

  • First we have the insane thought of Houston Nutt and Ole Miss football starring in their own reality show.  Ironically, ‘Nutt of Love’ (ok, it would be funny) will be on the channel formerly known as CourtTV.  Hopefully the season finale involves Judge Judy and NCAA sanctions. (H/T to Deadspin, too)
  • We might as well stick with football and also let you know how our once-upon-a-time beloved Matt Jones is doing.  Basically he’s done his time in ‘drug-court’ in Northwest Arkansas, but now he’s without a team. Blah, blah, blah.  Best part in the linked article?  Were all of the drug-court graduates ex-Razorbacks?

[Washington County] Circuit Court Judge Mary Ann Gunn warned Jones on Monday that since he has completed the program, drug court is no longer an option if he is arrested again.

Gunn then hugged Jones and took a picture with him and the other drug-court graduates, said Lisa Dennis, Washington County deputy prosecuting attorney.

  • And let’s not forget basketball.  Jason Henry is officially off the team, which leaves only 2 guys left from the Pelfrey’s 08-09 recruiting class.  Great.  Just great.

I love Fayetteville.

“Jeff Peterson is a very good addition to the Razorback program and we’re excited to have him,” Pelphrey says. “He obviously has to sit out next year, but he started in the Big Ten this year and had a good season. In two years, we’ll be adding a guard who played in more than 50 games at Iowa and averaged more than 10 points as a sophomore. He’s an outstanding student as well and will have a positive impact on and off the court even this upcoming season while he’s sitting out but practicing with us.”

Yay for rebuilding seasons, but how many rebuilds do we get?
