DsNumber one, you’ve got two ballgames left and a lot of these guys have done a lot of good things these last two years. And it’s easy to dwell on the negative. It’s easy to sit up on the 50-yard line, it’s easy to sit there and say ‘Bad, bad, bad, bad, embarrassing.’ And hey, I was the first one to say it after Saturday. Man, I don’t want to do that. If you think you’re hurting, you oughta just look at the tip of my itsy-bitsy little finger and then go all the way up through my body. I’m sick to my stomach. The Tennessee game, because we planned on winning that game.

Assholes from Arkansas will proudly thump their wimpy chests and gloat about how they “told us so” or “warned” us (Oh, gee, thanks for the neighborly “warning,” dipshits. Don’t play your semantic games with me, damnit, I’m above that.), but we all knew this would happen all along. We all knew the other shoe would drop at some point at some time because, at Ole Miss, it always does.

A More Measured Response, or “Let’s See Other People” - Red Cup Rebellion In which Ole Miss fans sound like Mets fans. And honestly I don’t hate Ole Miss fans anymore than I did before the Houston Nutt saga. I hated how the media put him on some pedestal that he didn’t earn. Rebel fans ate it up just as any other team would but the media were the ones to blame. (OK, this might be a lie. I really do hate them more than I did before. Sorry, I tried.) |
