The Beck Jinx Continues, Cards have lost 5 straight since Pujols and LaRussa spoke at Beckapalooza
For the first time since I retired in 1996, I’ve agreed to go to a Cardinals baseball fantasy camp, and I’m starting to think more about getting back into baseball and maybe coaching. The bug is coming back, and whenever I’m out on the field it feels like home.

Pujols and Yadier Molina batted 3-5 in the Cardinals’ win over the Pirates with a score of 10-2.
Jaime Garcia: 9 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 6 K in the Cardinals 9-0 win against the Giants. Garcia’s now 11-6 with a 2.42 ERA.

La Russa is currently hitting grounders to newly-signed first-rounder Zach Cox at 3B.
